I’m back!

Hi everyone!

It’s been a while, I know, I’ve had to stop work on the blog for a bit to get through my January exams. But they are all done now, my grades are in and I’ve done fairly well! That means I now have a lot more time to write posts for you guys. While I have been silent, I haven’t stopped reading. I read 10 books these past 2 months and I’ve got reviews for all of them ready for you.

Now, it’s a new year so I wanted to get the blog in shape again. I noticed I had a lot of books on my shelves that belong to series, so I thought it would be fun to feature a certain series every month. I’m kicking off this new feature with Ian McDonald’s ‘Everness’ series, which I read during my exams and really, really enjoyed. Other series that are on the list are: The Frist Law trilogy by Joe Abercrombie, the Clockwork Century series by Cherie Priest, the King Rolen’s Kin Chronicles by Rowena Cory Daniells and part of Janny Wurts’ Wars of Light and Shadows series.  I’m pretty excited about this because I really like reading a well worked out series that can keep me flipping the pages through more than one book.

Inbetween these featured books there will be reviews of newly released books and other books that are on my shelf off course, along with the usual features ‘Cover Artist’, ‘New Releases’ and the occasional ‘Spotlight’. I may add some other new features along the way, because I have a lot more ideas for this blog.

I’m thrilled to be back and blogging again!
